Guy Gilron, Principal of Borealis, has served as the Executive Secretariat of the North American Metals Council-Selenium Working Group since 2017. In this capacity, Guy reports to the NAMC-SWG Co-Chairs and serves to coordinate the functions and activities of the group. This includes: interfacing with the co-chairs on all administrative matters, and strategic and logistical advice on the nature and content of the meetings; organizing the biannual meetings; soliciting and curating all presentations from the membership on major topics (i.e., regulatory updates (USA and Canada; federal, state and provincial), aquatic toxicological science, research updates (including human health), and treatment technologies); and, preparing and curating all of the group's documentation. Guy also serves as the technical co-lead on advocacy submissions on behalf of the group, which contributes to North American regulations and policies related to selenium.
