Selenium Management Plan proposal for the Grande Cache Mine

In collaboration withAssociated Engineering (Edmonton, AB), Borealis contributed to the development of a Selenium Management Plan Proposal (SMPP) for the Grande Cache mine, for submission to the Alberta Energy Regulatory (AER). The focus of the SMPP is to satisfy the requirements of the mine’s Environmental Protection andEnhancement Act (EPEA) Approval, and to evaluate the progress of selenium mitigation measured. Borealis provided senior technical review for all aspects of the project.
