Risk Assessment and Risk Management for Zinc and Soluble Zinc Compounds

In collaboration with Windward Environmental (Seattle, WA, USA), Borealis participated in a comprehensive evaluation and review of the Draft Screening Assessment and the Risk Management Approach for Zinc and Soluble Zinc Compounds, as part of the Canadian federal Chemicals Management Plan, implemented by Environment and Climate Change Canada and Health Canada. The focus of the evaluation was on impacts to aquatic ecological receptors, specifically, fish, invertebrates and other aquatic life.
